Dijana Nazor Čorda was born in 1971 in Split. In 2017 she finished her PhD at the doctoral course Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb, Paintings in the infrared spectrum: postponing the visible mentored by full professor Igor Rončević and associate professor Jana Žiljak Gršić. In 1995, Dijana graduated from the then Faculty of Science and Pedagogy in Split, today the Arts Academy, and acquired the title of art teacher and conservator-restorer. 

In 1990, she obtained a high school diploma from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Split. Since 1995, she has exhibited at 42 independent exhibitions in Croatia, Belgium and Australia. Since 1993, she has participated in over 100 juried group exhibitions in the country and abroad. In 2006, she trained professionally during a two-month residency in Paris, in the studios Cité Internationale des Arts. Her paintings are in several holdings of Croatian museums and private collections. She is the author of eleven visual arts and urban installations, as well as two events at the International Street Festival Cest is d’Best. As of 2007, she has been heading the art programme of the Festival and has been managing four projects: the International Festival of Art Flags, the Festival of Art Stickers Art Walk and Cest klupaonice. Koautorica je i voditeljica of the Best Photography Cest From 2013 to 2020 she was a co-host of Cest is d’Best children’s programme. In 2020, with the support of Zagreb Tourist Board, the International Festival of Flags was separated from Cest is d’Best and became an individual festival, with Dijana as its art director.

She co-authored the textbook Pogled, potez (Observe, Draw)for 5th to 8th grade elementary school, published by Profil, Zagreb, and two teacher’s books with the CD for art teachers for the school years 2007/2008 and 2013/2014. She co-authored the new textbook Opažam, oblikujem (I Perceive, I Shape) 5, handbook for art teachers and interactive, art content on the digital platform for education IZZI, Zagreb, Profile Klett 2019. Dijana has won numerous awards, recognitions and commendations for her artistic work.

For her contribution to the arts and pedagogical work, she was presented with two state awards: Ivan Filipović. Annual National Award in 2012, and she recieved the Order of Danica Hrvatska with the figure of Antun Radić for education in 2013. In 2013 she was awarded the title of Celebrity AFIAP by the International Federation of Photographic Art. Dijana has published several research and professional papers, and participated in several national and international conferences. She has been a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists (HDLU), Zagreb since 1998, of InSEA (International Society for Education through Art) since 2006, Photo Club Zagreb in the period 2003–2011 and of Croatian Heraldic and Vexillological Association since 2017). She lives and works in Zagreb.
